King’s.—“ Kiss of Death,” which will begin at tho King’s Theatre today, is hot melodrama of the type that Hollywood intends to discountenance. For example, the opening scene, which occurs during the teeming hours of Christmas shopping, is the hold-up by gunmen of a jewellery salon in the heart of New York. Nick Bianco (Victor Mature) is captured. A year later, in prison, he learns that his two children are in an orphanage and that his pals havo decamped with the loot that should have gone to hiß family. Nick decides to get even, and the story tells how the gang tried to trip Nick up. With Victor Mature are such good actors as Brian Donlevy and Coleen Gray.
