Horticultural Section at Library
decision to approach the committee of the Turanganui Public Library with a request that a horticultural section be established was made at last night's meeting of the committee of the P.B. Horticultural Society. The president, Mr. D’A. Blackburn, stated that at present the library had very few volumes dealing with horticultural subjects. There were some excellent books on the market which could be read to advantage by the average horn# gardener. If these books were placed in the librarv he was sure they would be well read. Messrs. Blackburn and G~ T. Maunder were appointed to wail on the library committee at its meet, jng this week.
