NEWSPAPERS WRECKED
RIOTING IN RANGOON RANGOON, March 12. A mob of more than 5000 stormed the offices of three Rangoon newspapers today. They wrecked the presses and threw files and furniture into the street because the papers alleged that Thakin Tin president of the Peasants’ Union and a member of the Cabinet, had been guilty of “misbehaviour” during a recent tour of the country.
