MR. NASH IN OTTAWA
DOUBLE TAXATION TALKS OTTAWA, March 12. The New Zealand Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, arrived here today and vvill meet Canadian Government officials to discuss double taxation which has been affecting CanadaNew Zealand commercial relations. Mr. Nash said: “I am meeting Mr. Douglas Abbott. (Finance Minister) and Mr. C. D. Howe (Trade Minister) to see what we can do. One of my aims is to discuss double taxation affecting Canada-New Zealand commercial relations —it has had only a nuisance value for some time past."' Mi. Nash will leave for Washington tomorrow.
