IRISH POLITICIAN DEAD—The death has occurred of Mr. George Noble Plunkett, a hereditary papal count; aged 97, Irish author and politician, who spent many terms in English and Irish prisons for revolutionary activities. DANISH MEAT FOR BRITAIN.—The Danish Charge D’Affaires in Wellington. M. Karl I. Eskelund, referring to a cable message this week stating that an agent for the British Ministry of Food, Mr. G. E.
