OVER 50 DROWNED
RIVER STEAMER SINKS SANTIAGO (Chile) March 11. At least 50 persons were drowned yesterday when the small steamer Helvetia sank in Carahue River after a collision with a launch. The Carahue is a tributary of the Imperial River in which 100 were killed in January when the steamer Cautin sank.
