HOAX OR THREAT?
POLICE GUARD CHURCHILL MURDER WARNING LONDON, March 11. An anonymous caller last night told the Souffizmpton police: Mr. Churchill will be murdered at midday tomorrow.” It is believed the call was a hoax but Scotland Yard is taking no chances and is especially guarding Mr. Churchill until it is satisfied there is no danger. The police, after receiving the call, found Mr. Churchill in a London theatre. Detectives mingled with the crowd leaving the theatre and saw Mr. Churchill and his wife home.
