Telegraph Service Interrupted Following heavy rain in Hawke’s Bay yesterday afternoon, telegraphic communication between Gisborne and southern centres was interrupted for a short time. The fault occurred beween Wairoa and Napier, probably as a result of the rain falling on insulators covered with dust and cob-webs.
