FIRE DANGER GROWS RAPIDLY
tP.A.) WELLINGTON. March 11. YyiTH no rain in some districts for ' ' 14 days or more, the danger of fire ir, the North Island is growing rapidly. An official of the Slate Forest Service said today that the conditions were, particularly dangerous in the Auckland Province and Bay of Plenty district, where the countryside was very dry.
