FIRST CRICKET TEST
AUSTRALIA AND N.Z. LONDON, March 10. The Australian cricket team toured New Zealand in 1946 without the Imperial Cricket Conference’s approval. The countries comprising the conference have now officially recognised the lour so that the match against New Zealand at Wellington in March, 1946, ranks as a test—the first between the two countries.
