CONTINUED LEADERSHIP (U am i NANKING, March 9. The President of China. General Chiang ICai-shck, was urged by the Promotion Committee of the Kuornintang to “ignore personal comfort in retired life and steer the country On to a solid foundation for 10,000 years to come” in a written request sent to the general today. Dr Sun Fo Oma, son of Sun Ynt Sen, •father” of the Chinese Republic, was also urged to stand for election as vice-President of the National Assembly when it is convened on March 29.
