ARAB ARMIES POISED
ATTACK IN PALESTINE LONDON, March 9. “The Arab armies will be ordered into action when the battle plans which we are discussing now are completed,” the leader of the Arab forces. Fawziel Kawakji, after a series of staff conferences, told Reuter’s special correspondent at Arab headquarters in the Sama. rian hills. The correspondent says that Arab guerrilla chiefs in headdresses and various types of battledress, surrounded by armed escorts, are converging on the headquarters to receive instructions on disposition of their troops for all-out attacks. Other troops, mounted on fine Arab horses, with slung rifles, are patrolling the approaches to the mountain headquarters.
Kawakji, who has just completed a triumphal tour of the Snmarian and Galilean villages is a sturdy greyheaded man with a perpetual cigarette in his mouth. He. in 1036, led the Arab revolt against the British and had a price on his head. -'
