PASTRYCOOKS’ PROBLEM LATE SUGAR DELIVERIES (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 27. the inconvenience caused to the bakwq industry through delay in the delivery of Australian fruits was referred to at the annua] conference of the New Zealand Federation of Bakers and "rirycooks last night. It was decided to ask the Minister of Supply, Mr ft. H Nordmeyer, to approach the Australian authorities in an endeavour to have fruit shipped as "ear as possible to the original AprilMav shipment period. Complaints were also made about die late delivery of sugar and it was 'iet”ded to ask the Minister to take steps to have sugar delivered during the ne-iod for which a permit was granted.
