NEW YORK, Jan. 21. i The young widow of policeman Henry Mach, who was shot by a gunman, went ; to a Detroit store and bought a black ■ dress for the funeral from a grey-haired ! saleswoman. A few days later, the saleswoman sal, next to her in court when Reece Lawson. aged 47. ex-convict, was charged with the murder of Mach. The widow recognised her, and discovered she was Lawson’s wife.
