GUERRILLAS AMBUSHED

GREEK ARMY’S TOLL (10 a.m.) ATHENS, Feb. 24. Gendarmes and armed villagers ambushed 600 guerrillas who were escorting hostages, mostly women and children, 30 miles south of Larissa. The attackers killed 30 guerrillas, including the leader and took 27 prisoners besides large quantities of arms.
