NO CHANGE IN PLANS
CENTENNIAL FUNCTIONS (P.A.) DUNEDIN, Dec. 16. So far the outbreak of infantile paralysis in the north has had no effect on plans for the Otago Centennial and there have been no cancellations of accommodation for the earlymonths of the year. It is felt that North Island people are adopting a "wait and see" policy and are still hopeful that travel restrictions will be lifted. The Centennial Association is proceeding with its plans and no cancellations are likely as yet of national snorting meetings. The main celebrations will be held during the school term and it was never expected that many parents would be bringing children from the North Island.
