WAIROA POSITION
DENIAL OF RUMOURS (S.R.) WAIROA, Dec. 16. Wairoa still remains free from infantile paralysis despite strong rumours in circulation on Saturday that a local child had contacted the complaint. While the district still retains a “clean bili of health,” all parents do not appear to be co-operating in keeping children under 16 years of age away from public gatherings. A little more co-operation in this direction would be appreciated by the authorities.
