Successful Gisborne Student
In .the Canterbury University examinations, Mr. Brian Muir, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Muir, Gisborne, has gained passes in the examination for Bachelor of Engineering in the following _ subjects: Descriptive geometery, engineering mathematics 3, surveying 1. chemistry of engineering materials, and applied mathematics. Arbitration Court Fixtures The Arbitration Court has made fixtures till the end of March. Judge A. Tyndall remarked that because of complaints of delay the Court had decided to allow. itself breathing sphees in the fixture list, as when it was sitting all the time it had no time to make decisions. Also now that there were deputy-judges work would be delegated.—P.A.
