BELLONA RATING HURT
A seaman from H.M.N.Z.S. Bellona, at present lying at anchor in the bay, was admitted to the Cook Hospital at 12.45 p.m. yesterday suffering form concussion . The injured man, Stoker Mechanic John Racklie, aged 19, was brought ashore in one of the ship’s boats and transferred to the waiting St. John’s Ambulance vehicle. His condition yesterday afternoon was reported to be quite satisfactory.
