BRITISH GOAL OUTPUT
MINERS’ RECORD WEEK LONDON, Nov. 11. Britain will be able to export in 1948 to Europe at least 6,000,000 tons of qoal which the Marshall plan specifies, ff the miners maintain last week’s record, the output should be at least 212,000,000 tons a year, compared with the 200,000,000-ton target. The miners have increased production under voluntary overtime, involving, in some cases, Saturday working and others longer weekdays.
