SYDNEY CAR THEFTS
JOYRIDES BY YOUTHS (9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 30. Twenty-one of 22 motor-cars stolen in the city and suburbs during the week-end have been recovered by the police. The value of the stolen cars and eight motor-cycles was more than £IO,OOO. Police officers say that most of the cars stolen at week-ends are taken by youth who drive girls to parties or beaches and then abandon the cars.
