WIDE HORIZONS.
The activities of the Salvation Army are world-wide. They embrace missionary work overseas and spiritual and social work at home. Here, in New Zealand, no less than thirty-seven Salvation Army institutions arc busy helping less fortunate persons. Persons of every shade of religious thought, and in every walk of life have given willingly to the Salvation Army. Each year the Salvation Army makes a Self Denial Appeal to their own members and to the public. This appeal has always met wuh an excellent response from public spirited citizens, and the Salvation Army is confident that, this year, the people of Gisborne will not fail them in their' appeal for funds to help them to help others.—(“ :
