RINGLEADERS’ ARREST

UNREST IN SOLOMONS (1.30 p.m.l LONDON, Sept. 18. Police on Malaita and Ysabel Islands, in the Solomons Group, have arrested the ringleaders of the “Marxist law movement,” says the Colonial Office. There has been considerable unrest and defiance of the law in the islands for some time. The Admiralty denied that the islands were being patrolled by British warships, but confirmed that the air-craft-carrier Theseus and the destroyer Cockade are making a cruise in the area.
