COMPLETE DEADLOCK
NAZI ASSETS IN AUSTRIA (11.30 a.m.) VIENNA. Sept. 19. Sir George Handel, head of the British delegation to the Austrian Treaty Commission, who has left for London, will not return. He is leaving the •arguing of the British case on the deadlocked question of the definition of German assets in Austria to Mr. M. Cullis.
Sir George feels that the commission lias readied such an irnpasse that it is doubtful if it will even be able to present a dear statement of the agreed difficulties to the Foreign Ministers’ meeting in London in November.
