Cattle Fair Entry
Numerous small pens were offered on Tuesday and Wednesday at the cattle fair at Matawhero saleyards and the entry, » particularly of female stock, was well down on the equivalent fair of last season. For the two days of the fair just completed there was a total entry of 2736, 1695 bullocks and steers and 1041. cows and heifers. Last year the entry comprised 4065 head, 1908 males and 2157 females.
