EGYPTIAN CREDITS
TRANSFER AUTHORISED SPECIAL CASE RECOGNISED CAIRO. Aug. 22. The British Embassy announced that the Bank of England had been instructed to approve during the period ending October 31 application for the transfer of sterling from Egyptian transferrable accounts to American accounts to a total of £1,500,000. The announcement added that Egypt ■was being regarded as a special case in of her recent membership of the sterling area
