In a professional middleweight con lest last night Harry Hanson (Wellington) lOst. 101 b, defeated Harry Mason (Wales) lost. 121 b, on a technical knock-out in the fourth round. Hanson lacked confidence in the first round, but soon rattled Mason with powerful rights. Hanson relied on stabbing lefts, but possessed no adequate guard. Hanson came off the ropes in the fourth round with a straight right which dropped Mason. Mr. Tom Ilecney, the referee, stopped the fight.
