SURRENDER TO ARABS CONTROL IN PALESTINE (10 a.m.) GENEVA. Aug. 9. The Jewish Agency, replying to the Palestine Government’s memorandum to the United Nations’ special committee on Palestine, accused the British administration of constantly surrendering to Arab intimidation, interpreting the mandate in favour of the Arabs and constituting itself the guardian of the old order invested with the task of curbing the growth of a national home for the Jews.
