‘UNWISE,' SAYS MR. NASH
RUSH TO STORE PETROL (P.A) WELLINGTON, Aug. 11. Any rush by motorist to store petrol in view of a possible reduction in petrol allowances was described as unwise by the Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, last night. He said there was nothing to add to his previous statement that if Britain intended to cut her petrol consumption by one-third the New Zealand Govern ment would have to give some thought to the matter here. It would be foolish, however, for moto fists to try to build up stocks pending any decision, he added.
