MAN LOST OVERBOARD
SEAMAN ON PUKEKO ACCIDENT AT NAPIER (P.A.) NAPIER, Aug. 11. The police late last night were still searching for the body of a seaman who fell overboard from the coastal vessel Pukeko ns she was leaving Napier at 9 p.m. on Saturday He was Mr Eric Wilson, aged 18. of 14 Walling street. Mount Eden, Auckland. Mr Wilson was hauling on a rope while the vessel was moving away from the wharf when the ship suddenly lurched. The slackening of the rope caused him to topple backwards over the side.
