LINER AKAROA

SAILING FOR N.Z. TODAY REFIT COMPLETED (10 a.m.) LONDON, July 4. The Shaw Savill and Albion Company’s liner Akaroa will leave Southampton tomorrow for Wellington on her first post-war voyage.

The Akaroa has had six months’ overhaul and refit and will resume service as a cabin class liner, with accommodation for 190 passengers and a large cargo capacity. . The passengers will include Mr. Frank D. Harris and the assistant manager of the Shaw Savill Line who is going to spend two years in the company’s Wellington office and then two years in the Sydney office.
