ILL-FED CHILDREN
CLOSING OF SCHOOLS (11 a m.) HERFORD, June 22. The Town Council at Innsbruck has asked that the schools should be closed a fortnight earlier for the summer holidays. Many children, it was stated, could not attend because of undernourishment which made them unable to stand the heat Rations for the Tyrol for the next fortnight will be only 1000 calories instead of the usual 1500.
