STILL AT LARGE
LONDON KILLER “GUNS FOR HIRE” GANG BIG POLICE COMB-OUT (11 a.m.) LONDON, April 30. The masked killer who shot Mr. Alexander de Antiquis in an attempt to hold-up a jewellery shop on Tuesday and two other bandits with him are members of the “Guns for Hire” Gang of about 20 desperate men, says the Evening Standard's crime reporter. These Chicago-like gangsters are still at liberty. They have so far eluded the biggest comb-out of the underworld Scotland Yard has ever made.
