EVENTS OF THREE DAYS HIGH STANDARD SHOWN Close competition with a general high standard ol work marked the annual trials Held by the Wairoa Come Club over a period of three days. Appreciation ol the nelp given oy me Hurumua Settlers’ Association in making the grounds available the support of competing owners, and the generous co-operution ot donors of tropnies and those wno Pad combined in the administrative work was expressed oy the dub patron. Mr. A. T. Jarrol. Mr. Carrol also referred to the outstanding service given by Mr. K McKay as secretary of the club and voiced the keen regret felt over Mr. McKay s retirement. He extended the sincere thanks of the dub in appreciation of Mr. McKay’s work over a long period and as a token of gratitude to both Mr. and Mrs McKay made tne presentation ot an engraved silver tray.
