SATURDAY’S MEETING
ACCEPTANCES TO-NIGHT With an excellent list of nominations from district owners and those in neighbouring districts, the P.B. Turf Club's prospects for the autumn meeting, which opens at the Makaraka course on Saturday, are considered to be highly satisfactory. Acceptances for all events on the first day’s card will close this evening at 8 o’clock with the secretary of the club, Mr. L. R. Bright. Precedency has been re-handicapped at 8 10 in the Waikanae Hack Handicap as a result of recent performances.
