INDOOR BASKETBALL
TALL SCORES REGISTERED Another interesting series of games marked Saturday’s play in the Gisborne Indoor Basketball Associations competitions. Tall scoring was the feature of most of the women’s games, but Gisborne Markets won a close victory from a somewhat depleted Eagles team by 12 points to 10. The closest of the men’s games was that in which the newly-formed Pirates team put up a good exhibition against Kiwis. Results:— Women’s Section.—McGruers, 29 v. Petties G; Rovers. 28 v.
