Southland Fat Lambs Successful
The shield attached to the South Island district tat lamb competition conducted by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has been won again by Southland lambs, the Eastern Southland exhibit having been placed first by the judges i:i London. Advice of the award has been received by Mr. A. Derbie, general manager of‘the Southland Frozen Merit Company, Limited, from MacPlietson. Train and Company, London. Until 19119 when the competition was last held, Southland won the shield every .year except one, when Eastern Southland was successful.—P.A.
