PLUNKET SOCIETY
A meeting of the Plunket Society was held early this week Mrs. R. E. Gambrill taking the chair in the absence of Mrs. J. O. Musgrave. Others present included Mesdames McCulloch, C. F. Carter. A. L. W. Martin, D. Wells, P. Sibley, J. Robertson, Greenstreet and T. A. N. Corson. The nurses report stated that the number of new babies totalled 95, and 194 visits had been made to babies in homes, while 591 babies had been brought to the rooms. Pre-school children attended numbered 48, 637 adults had been to the rooms and preschool children examined by a doctor numbered 37. making a total of 603 babies under supervision.
