TRAPPED IN BURNING PIT (10 a.m.) LONDON, March 25, Thirteen men, trapped 1000 ft. below (he surface in a blazing coal mine near Heerien, died before they could bo rescued, says the British United Press' correspondent in Heerien. The victims were suffocated by thick smoke.
