£12,500,000 CHEQUE
N.Z. GIFT TO BRITAIN LONDON, March 24. The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, called on the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Dr. H. Dalton, to-day, and presented him with a cheque for £10,000,000 sterling (£12,500,000 New Zealand currency), recently given to Britain as a gift by the Dominion. Dr. Dalton expressed the sincere thanks of the British people.
