FILM OPERATORS
CHRISTMAS NIGHT OFF (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 10. Picture theatre operators who belong to the Canterbury, Westland and Nelson Motion Picture Operators’ Union have decided that they will have Christmas night ofT. said Mr. D. S. Sharp, secretary of the union, in a statement last night. As a result of a secret ballot, he added, it had been decided by a majority of four to one to fall into line with Wellington and other centres, and to take advantage of the holiday provided for in awards and agreements.
