CHIEF SCIENTIST’S POST LONDON, Dec. 8. The Ministry of Supply has announced that Sir Ben Lockspeiser has been appointed a newly-created post of ch ef scientist to the Ministry. Sir Ben will bo responsible for co-ordinating lescarch work on the Ministry s military and aeronautical programmes. The Ministry has also announced that responsibility for all branches of research and development of guidcc projectiles, including the proposed range in Australia will be integrated under the Controller of Supplies (Air.) Details of this new organisation will be announced later.
