ACTIVE JN ITALY RUSSIAN DIRECTION POLICE CHIEFS WARNED (10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 6. The existence in Italy of a Russiancontrolled Pan-Slav terrorist organisation calling itself “Troika” is referred to in a confidential document circulated by the Italian Ministry of the Interior to all police chiefs, says the Daily Telegraph’s correspondent in Rome. A Ministry official admitted the document’s authenticity, saying it had been circulated on September 19. The correspondent says the document described the organisation as being composed of Russian, Yugoslav and Italian extremists under Russian orders to carry out terrorism and sabotage against the Allied forces in Italy and against Italians and foreigners known to be anti-Communist and anti-Tito. The correspondent adds that, the police chiefs at Foggia, Taranto and Bari reported they have confirmed the existence of the organisation in their areas. The Allied authorities in Italy are also aware of its activities.
