We suggest to you, the public, that you look for them and 'read them. They tell not only of the senseless past denudation of our forests, of the rich land sweeping to the sea. They suggest .small personal ways in which we can all help in the restoration. Read them; they have a message for everyone who loves New Zealand. At Coopers, we have soil and growing things In our blood. We know and understand what erosion means to fertility. We feel that what the N.I.M.U. has started with such splendid public spiritedness, should not be allowed to drop. Therefore we have donated supplies of trees and flower seeds to the N.I.M.U. and these are being distributed to Automobile Associations throughout the North Island who will make them available free, to members who apply for them. We trust they will be used wisely .. . planted in cold camp-fire ashes or in any place which might be lovelier for a tree. Coopers have a world-wide reputation for achievements in seed raising.
