LONDON VICTORY PARADE (Specinl Correspondent.) LONDON. May 1. Plans for the victory parade continue in be taken quietly. That the mood ,or rejoicing is restrained is evident from the fact that Brighton decided nut to hold celebrations, while Cambridge Town Council committee may not make anv recommendations, for celebrations. Tvpical of the opinion among some Londoners was an advertisement in a Sundav newspaper: "Victory week-end —Gentleman with comfortable flatlet, central London, would exchange lor quiet country residence, with fishing.
