POWER RATIONING
ILLINOIS STATE COAL SUPPLIES SHORT SEVERE LIMIT ON USE (10 a.m.) CHICAGO. May 2. The Illinois Commerce Commission has ordered a dim-out for virtually the whole State, effective on Monday, because of fuel shortages caused by coal miners' strikes, * The use of electricity by industries will be limited to 24 hours weekly, and by stores and offices only between 2 and 6 p.m. six days weekly. Industrial users will receive no electricity on Saturdays or Sundays.
