MR. JORDAN IN LONDON OFFICIAL WORK RESUMED (Special Correspondent.) LONDON, May 1. “Welcome back. I hope you enjoyed your visit,” the King said to Mr. W. J. Jordan, when the New Zealand High Commissioner, was sworn in as a Privy Councillor. His Majesty asked Mr. Jordan several questions about the Dominion. Mr. Jordan has quickly taken up the thread of his work again at the New Zealand House and, in addition, visited the Fernleaf Club and watched the Kiwis in a seven-a-side tournament at Twickenham last Saturday. Thus far he has not been invited to be present at the Commonwealth discussions at Downing Street, although other High Commissioners attend. At the suggestion of Mr. Fraser. Mr. Jordan is contemplating visiting Mr. Boswell in Moscow this summer.
