28 GERMANS TO DIE
DACHAU CAMP OFFICIALS LONDON. May 1. The commander of the United States zone in Germany, Lieut.-General McNarney. confirmed the remaining 28 death sentences passed last December on former officials and guards of the Dachau concentration camp. Thirty-six of the 40 defendants were originally sentenced to death but eight sentences were later commuted.
