SOVIET DANGER TO U.S.
EX-DIPLOMAT’S WARNING ULTIMATUM SUGGESTED NEW YORK, March 24. Russia was the greatest danger that had ever threatened America, said Mr. George Earle, former United States Ambassador to Bulgaria and Austria, in an interview after his arrival from Europe. Mr. Earle advocated delivering an ultimatum to Russia “to get back to her own country, or we shall use the atomic bomb on the Russians while we .have it, and before they get it.” Mr. Earle added that if Russia had the atomic bomb, there would be few Americans left to-day. Mr. Earle intends to tour the United States to arouse the country to the “frightful menace of Russia.”
