WAGES INCREASE
BAKERS AND PASTRYCOOKS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 23. The Arbitration Court by an amendment of the award had granted an increase of Is 8d a week in the wages ol' bakers and pastrycooks and their labourers in the Northern. Taranaki, Wellington, Westland, Canterbury, Otago and Southland districts.
The increase is retrospective to April 1, 1945.
